Account & data requests

Request deletion without sharing sensitive information.

Use these steps to ask YCMA to disconnect a sign-in identity, close portal access, or review eligible information for deletion.

Last updated:July 17, 2026

1. Remove the Facebook connection if you choose

You can remove YCMA School Portal from the Apps and Websites area of your Facebook settings. This stops future Facebook sign-in through that connection, but it does not by itself delete information held by YCMA or records that YCMA must retain.

2. Send YCMA a deletion request

Email [email protected] from the address associated with your portal account. Use the subject “YCMA Portal Data Deletion Request.”

  1. Provide your full name and the email address used for the YCMA School Portal.
  2. State whether you want YCMA to disconnect Facebook or another social sign-in method, close portal access, and/or review eligible personal information for deletion.
  3. If you are acting for a student or another person, explain your relationship and authority.
  4. Do not send your password, government identification number, payment information, or sensitive documents in the first email.

3. Identity verification

To protect your account and school information, YCMA will verify your identity and, when relevant, your authority to act for another person. YCMA may ask for additional information through an appropriate secure process. A request cannot be completed when identity or authority cannot be reasonably verified.

4. What YCMA will review

YCMA will explain the outcome after the request is reviewed. When information cannot be deleted, YCMA will retain only what is reasonably required and restrict access according to the applicable purpose and policy.

  • The linked Facebook, Google, Apple, or email sign-in identity and whether it can be disconnected.
  • The YCMA portal account and whether access should be closed or disabled.
  • Account and portal information that is eligible for deletion or de-identification.
  • School, financial, safety, contractual, dispute, or other records that must be retained under applicable requirements or an active legal hold.

5. Important effect of account deletion

Disconnecting a sign-in provider or closing the portal account may prevent you from signing in and viewing school information. It does not cancel an enrolment, contract, balance, or other relationship with YCMA. Contact the appropriate YCMA team separately if your request also concerns one of those matters.

6. Privacy questions

For more information about the account data used by the portal, read the YCMA School Portal Privacy Notice. You may also contact YCMA at the email address shown on this page.
